Best advice I got was “leave dude alone”. Why do we tend to walk in the opposite direction of advice, gut feelings, and everything we know is absolutely right. I am definitely a perpetrator of doing things that I know in my head doesn’t make sense. A good friend of mine posed a great question to me.. She asked me if I was just holding on to something that I knew was once good or actually thinking about how things would be now. Damn… that question hurt… Its hard to let go of someone when you still have love for them.. But you have to wonder is your love for them greater than self respect and self love that you need to have for yourself?
